According to statistics of the sixth volume of China Academic Journal Composite Citation Report which was published by Science Press in Nov. 2007, among 32 technology periodicals about textile and printing & dyeing, the impact factor of Cotton Textile Technology still takes the first place, others data as follows: the insertion number in a year is 235, the funded thesis proportion is 0.10, the periodical number which was cited by other periodicals is 105, the citation frequency in all is 1075, the index in those days is 0.166, the downloading proportion in web is 15.3.

 

It could be seen from above data that the funded thesis proportion of Cotton Textile Technology in 2007 is 0.10, it is higher than that of 0.07 in 2006, the growth ratio is 43%, and it has a high extent. On one hand, the proportion of the funded project of Cotton Textile Technology has been increasing with a vast scale, on the other hand, after many years of accumulating, the periodical has attracted the most attention, and more and more funded project thesises were post to our periodical, therefore, academic quality of Cotton Textile Technology has increased very quickly. In addition, the citation ratio of Cotton Textile Technology (2007) is 0.55 than that of 0.51 in 2006, the growth ratio is 0.08%. It could be seen that the citation frequency of Cotton Textile Technology which was cited by other periodicals is increasing gradually. The citation number is 105 than that of 97 in 2006, the growth ratio is 0.08%, it could be proved that the citation frequency of Cotton Textile Technology which was cited by others is increased, and the periodical species are also increased. It could be seen that academic effect and status of Cotton Textile Technology has been increased gradually in the industry.

 

Based on the 6593 periodicals collected in the China Periodicals Databases, China Academic Journal Composite Citation Report£¨CAJCCR£©is compiled after being analyzed according to the statistics by the standardized processing of the quoted data in the academic periodicals and papers. Based on the ¡®human-life-centered¡¯ classifying system and the principle of ¡®gathered if similar, compared if on the same level¡¯, it has be developed to five special collections, that is, university transactions, social science periodicals, natural science periodicals, medical science periodicals and agricultural science periodicals. At the same time, it is listed by the cited frequency and the impact factor, which represents composition forces of category gathering and the fair judgement of periodicals in different subjects. The periodicals indexes provided are as following: Volume of articles, funded articles ratio, number of articles cited, total cited frequency, number of citation in other periodicals to the total citations ratio, impact factor, 5- year impact factor, half like period to be cited, h refers to web, i.e., the download rate that year. Literature computation index such as present year index can be used as quantitative analysis and scientific evaluation of the position of that subject and the academic impact. The major indexes are defined as following: Funded articles ratio refers to the funded articles to the total articles ratio in the source periodicals. Total cited frequency refers to the total frequencies of articles that has been cited in the year of calculating the source of the periodicals since that periodicals was established. This index can be used to objectively indicate the overall citation and the extent of attention attracted as well as the function and position of the periodical in the academic communication.
